Pocket Change is a resource that presents personal finance in a digestible, matter-of-fact way, aiming to increase financial literacy in demographics that find it daunting to start. Pocket Change is divided into three phases: a personal finance guide website, a budgeting starter kit, and a social media campaign. Each phase aims to access a different interaction with personal finance. The website as a learning resource, the budget kit as an actionable behavior tracker, and the social campaign as a daily interaction experience. Through these mediums, my thesis makes financial literacy more in the viewer’s everyday life.
